Luminario Ballet started choreographing and performing commissioned ballets the second year of our existence, in 2010, Copeland's "Rodeo" and Ginestera's "Estancias", seen in LA at the Walt Disney Concert Hall with our wonderful LA Philharmonic orchestra.
Additionally, Luminario Ballet has been commissioned by the international chamber group Le Salon de Musiques, the Dana Point Symphony, and the New Valley Symphony Orchestra.
Collaborative creativity brought a Burning Man version of Stravinsky's "Firebird Rising" to life and Luminario Ballet Special Guest choreographer Debra Lynn Brown (Cirque du Soleil "O", Allegria, Mystere, Zumanity, Quidam, etc.) presented "Brace...Yourself" about traveling, both exciting commissions from outside groups.
Luminario Ballet draws upon a vivid imagination of orchestral as well as popular and niche music and brings it to life on stage alongside your orchestra, theater company, opera group, or band!

Our festival performances can be any length from a short 10 minute excerpt from our ever popular Led Zeppelin work, "LedZAerial", or a full evening's repertory showcasing several choreographers, such as our show at the 10th Annual Miami Dance Festival in 2013. Dance or aerial dance Master Classes and Lecture/Demonstrations can be arranged as well

Luminario Ballet will perform at your corporate event, movie wrap party, or fundraising gala. Our performance can be simple such as a ballet pas de deux or aerial solo. We can provide an evening such as an epic journey with our Led Zeppelin Ballet, "LedZAerial"; our eco-ballet, "TRAILS"; our circus ballet, "Carnival"; or a variety of ballets and aerial dances from our repertory.
Clients should feel free to custom order a special ballet or aerial work tailored and themed for your event. Luminario Ballet fits in easily to convention centers, hotel ballrooms, conference centers, or wherever you event is being held!

Luminario Ballet performs at all kinds of private parties: Weddings, Birthdays, Bar/Bat Mitzvah's, Celebrations, etc. We have a wide variety of music from traditional Tchaikovsky ballets with tutus to rock n' roll ballets in psychedelic costumes to aerial ballet to Led Zeppelin. Choose a romantic pas de deux ballet for your wedding, or an exciting aerial dance with Patriotic theme for your July 4th party!
We can also choreograph a custom ballet for your special party to any theme.
